    How to hide Imbalance jQuery menu flash on load

    Hi all. I can't figure out why the menu is flashing on load. I've tried hiding it with css and javascript but I'm not adept at either. Any thoughts?

    REALLY appreciate any thoughts here. Totally stuck.

    I have been trying to solve this issue for some time now; Actually it's rather simple.

    First, open your style.css and find the unformatted content that is flashing in the menu. If for example, the search menu and archives are flashing on navigation, then locate it in the stylesheet and add "display: none;" (without the quotations)like the example below.

    #categories, #archives, #search {
    display: none;
    width:945px;
    overflow:hidden;
    padding:0;
    border-bottom:solid 1px #ff3706;
    }
    #categories ul li, #archives ul li {
    display: none;
    font-size:11px;
    float:left;
    width:293px;
    padding:0px;
    line-height:20px;
    height:20px;

    This should fix your problem.

    I wasn't able to get this to work—this is also the third time I'm asking and hopefully won't be told it needs to be approved by the monitor. Regardless, it is the only thing holding me back from my site going "live"—could you please advise?

    Thanks so much!

    I reloaded the original style.css and then switched out your code, it still didn't work. I would really like to publish my site, so anything you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much.
